The Yellow Bench

Conversations that matter

Identity & Website Design

The Yellow Bench was part of the “Lifeline” theme during the Invictus Games the Hague 2020 to support the narrative of the ceremonies.
It immediately became a popular meeting place to sit down and meet other people. A symbol that stands for the willingness to meet another human being, the ability to open up to each other, for being able to have the courage to have real conversations that matter.

To share and hear about the physical and mental challenges and vulnerabilities that life presents you with as a veteran. It encouraged to open up, to start a real conversation and to share emotions. Seeing through the differences in gender, religion, race or background.

The Yellow Bench was a great success during the Invictus Games. It only seemed logical to extend that success beyond the Invictus Games.

Addikt was asked to help develop an identity system for communication and website. Hopefully this helps to maintain that success, keep that spirit alife and bring people closer together.
